The Desert Division is offering for sale the last of the Copper Hopper Banquet Cars. Only 150 of these copper plated hoppers were produced by Lionel using a
K-Line die-cast design. The luster from the copper plating and unique sparkling “silver” load makes this car unlike anything else ever produced. The Copper Basin Railway banquet car is in 1:48 Scale and features die cast trucks, operating die cast couplers, spring-loaded opening drop doors, metal grab rails, ladders, brake wheel and air tank. Each car is marked on the bottom with the words "TCA 2009 Convention Scottsdale".
The cost of this car is only $150 and includes shipping via Priority Mail and insurance. The cars are available for immediate shipping.

This TCA-On Track Step Van was produced in 1996 to commemorate the 25th Anniversry of the TCA Desert Division. Only 250 were made by Lionel and they have the product number of 6-52008. The lettering on the luminescent cab states: "25th Anniversary Desert Division Train Collectors Association 1971-1996".
